Spring has sprung! Or so we think. Mother Nature may still send us another Wintry present!

Reading up on some Fashion Blogs these strange sounding Spring Trend Colors caught my eye and made me wonder.....humm....

The Royal Wedding Will Be Wearing Vivien Sheriff Hats

The Royal Wedding will have some of the best Designers dressing everyone from the Bride Kate Middleton to her guests.

One of the Designers of what some will be adorning their heads is Vivien Sheriff. Vivien is a favorite Designer of the famous Fascinator that is all the rage and is becoming so in the United States.

Diane Von Furstenberg famous Fashion Designer an Icon for many many years has also made a name for herself in several other areas than just clothing. Her famous designer luggage sets are also a trade mark of her style.

Having the talent to design clothing that not only fits the trend but yet break the trend and stay around for many many years for example the wrap dress! She tends to design her products with grace and style. Her luggage sets show the same thought and style she uses that with stand the latest fad.

Leopard print will never go out of style. You can always wear leopard as long as you do not over do it. One piece will satisfy the eye. Whether it be a hat, gloves, scarf or a great bag you will never go wrong if your stay in the "tasteful" zone. I love the black and print leopard luggage sets she has done. It will never go out of style just like the wrap dress.

Christiane Larue Fashion Studio Opens in Birmingham MI

There is a new Fashion Boutique that is opening Monday December 13th in the newer "warehouse district of Birmingham Michigan" Christiane Larue Studio, located at 2243 Cole street, Birmingham MI 48009.

Designer and Owner Bonnie Foley showed off some of the studio's work on the Fox 2 Morning (Show see video).

Her designs are amazing, flattering and unique. Each piece is meticulously hand made with exquisite detail.

Coach Has New Fall Line Of Shoes And Handbags In Chicago Store

On a recent trip to the fab Windy City "Chicago" I had the opportunity to catch the new Coach Fall line at one of their amazing stores.

The new styles are amazing! I could have spent the day in the store just touching and feeling all the handbags, scarf's and shoes.
This handbag is at the top of my must have list for Fall Fashion! The Coach and calves skin with a touch of leopard print will set you back $1,400.00 but is a must have for animal print that is always so in style.

These great new bags are beautiful. Tons of storage for the busy on the go Mom and it a color that goes with every thing! That's even better. When your to busy to change your bag color every time you change your outfit sometimes having a great "staple" color is a big help ;)

Spring Fashion Party With CAbi

I just had my Spring CAbi clothing party this last Thursday.

I do have to say it was a big hit! The line is so great. They have so many items to choose from for this Spring.

Here are some of the nights favorites.

The jean with the white T-shirt decorated with foe necklace look. It is not a necklace but the design directly on the shirt it self. Great idea. And it looks great with any bottom. You don't even have to dress it up, it's already done for you.

This lovely silky tunic was a huge hit. The picture does not even due it justice. The colors are much brighter in real life. I paired this with the white tank and the white lou lou jeans with a big cuff.

Very Spring Summer look. And lite enough to wear on a hot summer day or throw on to keep the arms warm at dinner.

Love this!

This look reminds me of the Rachael Zoe look.

The classic boyfriend jeans (with cute detailing) a yellow (the in color this season) and a CoCo Chanel look alike short cardi.

Toss on a long necklace like in the photo and your off. This looks great with flats or heels ;)

If your thinking of having a CAbi party you may want to book now. The stuff sells quick and once it's gone it's gone. You can find it on Ebay if your lucky.

I have already booked a Fall party.

The clothes are well made and most are wash and wear even better.

Life and the Lee Op Art Wedge from Coach!

Sitting here posting and watching the snow falling outside accumulate to oh what this time maybe eight inches or so. I was surfing and shopping and found these amazing little beauties.

The Lee op art wedge by Coach. Bringing back memories of the Dr. Scholl's that I had that were very similar but were not as comfy as these look like they would be.

Yes I am dreaming of spring and how great these will be on my pedicured painted toes. I do love the snow however and it is amazingly beautiful right now and so silent and peaceful. Until the snow plows arrive, motors running, blades scraping the drive way almost shaking the house when it comes slamming down!

Soon enough the snow will melt and Spring will arrive. The kids will have grown a couple of inches and the clothing I bought on "sale" last year for this year will of course be too small because they grew more than I had accounted for.

I know we wish for things to happen quickly, we wish for the season's to get her sooner, but take in the time you are in now and find the beauty in it. You can never get it back once it's gone. The kids will not be little for long when you look back you will miss this precious moment time and wish it back ;)

First Ladies and Pearls

Pearls pearls pearls are in once again. I don't think they were ever out to tell you the truth! I love them.

Pearls to me mean beauty, grace, elegance and just seem to portray a sense of etiquette.

Jackie O always wore pearls even with slacks. She either had on pearls or over sized sunglasses. She kept her fashion elegant with clean crisp lines. Her outfits seemed to fit her like a glove. Whether she wore a dress, suit or capri's with flats she was always in fashion. All the way down to her navy blue bag.

Another First Lady Mrs. Obama has a similar fashion sense or has someone that works for her who may just happen to be a Jackie O fan ;)

She has a First Lady style and dons the ever so fashionable pearl necklace with matching earrings to boot.

I do think the First Lady should look like a First Lady don't you?

I have my order in for some new pearls, a double strand. A great friend is vacationing in Shanghai and is going to find some for my Daughter and myself. Yes of course we had a list: double strand necklace, matching bracelet and earrings.

Pearls can be worn almost anywhere and at any time. You can wear them with dresses or prep up a white t-shirt, blue jeans and flats with a pearl necklace. Anytime anywhere ;)

How exciting JIMMY CHOO is now at H&M stores! And at a very reasonable price point also! For around a hundred dollars you can pick up a pair and not have to spend an arm and a leg!

We LOVE this!

With today's economy I am glad to see that some designers are realizing that not everyone can spend like they used to and probably will not go back to spending the way they once did before.

Spotted recently at the Jimmy Choo launch party for H&M many celebrities arrived to show their support for the show designer and store. Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Gabrielle Reece, Tamara Mellon and Margareta van den Bosch, Paris and Nicky Hilton to name a few.

Sequence, Sequence, Sequence A Wardrobe Must!

Rachel Zoe says everyone should have something sequence in their wardrobe. It puts a stylish boost to anything from jeans to dresses.

This great little party dress covered with colored sequin in Pink, Blue, Gold, Turquoise and Fuchsia is a must have piece. The over the shoulder style and shorter length can go anywhere.

Also in the back ground the black sequined leggings and tops. One piece in an outfit instantly adds a flash of style. Be brave start small.

Military Denim Jacket Revisited

Denim jackets have always and will always be a in fashion one way or another.

Jackets from the past are new again. "What is old is now new". Think before you toss. Well maybe the 80's can go. But then again you never know. The Rachel Zoe Project just did a photo shoot for "V" and the theme was the 80's Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical" look.

While shopping I came across this denim military jacket in black with black polished buttons on the front lapels. Very cute, fitted in the front and back, very flattering.

My Husband says he has one somewhere.... I wonder where and what I could do with it!! Hummmm...... need to go look ;)

All sorts of styles are in just don't wear denim from head to toe - yuck! One piece at a time. Think of it as an accessory don't overdue it.

Pair this up with a skirt, leggings and boots. Have fun.

Fall Fashion Totes and Bags

Fall is here once again, the perfect time for new Totes and Bags. This little felt like black and white plaid bag with the adorable pink accent is so cute and can go anywhere. You always need a little "pink" on.

We fell in love with the "peace" tote in fun colors. My Daughter can take it to school or to the pool to keep her towel and suit. Or to the supermarket.

This denim version of the "peace" tote is great for the trip to Border's and is roomy enough to carry the load of books you purchased home. Again with some "pink" accents again.

Okay if your not into pink maybe you will love this red bag. Red and white plaid with silver accents and draw string tie. I love this!! Make sure when you wear red keep it to a minimum like one piece. Don't over due it. Either a red bag, shoes, belt or belt NOT all of the above ;)

Keep Those Old Sweater Cardigans!

Sweater coats and cardigans are in for Fall. This is a perfect piece for your wardrobe during the transition from Summer to the brisk Fall weather.

Long knit belted cardigans and the shorter versions like this one are oh so cute with a pair of skinny jeans and boots.

The Sweater coats made of a much heavier knit are warm and comfy and can be worn any time day or night. There is such a large selection this year I don't know where to start. Old Navy to Nordstroms, Marshall's and TJ Max. They are everywhere.

I actually have two old long sweater cardigans that I have updated by just removing the knit belt that they came with and added a wide leather belt around the waist. You can also run out to Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics and grab some great new large wooden buttons that are in and switch out the old ones for a new updated look!

So "In with the old and In with the new!" Not "out with the old and in with the new!".

Purple, Brown, Mustard and Green pops of color to brighten up the fall season. Layer tanks and jeans with a extra long cardigan in the bright splashy colors.

Wide belts and boots, boots, boots.

Purple is great for work and works well into the evening.

Pair it up with silver pumps and your off.

So get off the couch from the orange, rust, brown and black and put some pop into this falls wardrobe. Oh, and don't forget the manicure! Deep purple's and blacks are still in for fall.

Just channel surfing this morning and I ran across this new find:

Vanity Fair's 2009 Best Dressed list announced this morning. Many Women as well as Men made the best dressed list this year.

Both President Obama and his Wife made the list this year. Vanity Fair saying that the President has a natural ease and elegance with his fashion, he feels comfortable in his own skin. He cares how he looks but not too much. Even when he wore jeans to throw out the first pitch at a recent baseball game.

Brad Pitt made the list with out this wife Angelina Jolie. Brad always looks sharp and plays with accessories; jewelry, hats and scarf's.

Ann Hathaway has brought elegance to the younger hip frumpy actors scene. She is tall, lean and can wear anything adding a touch of grace.

Making the Hall of Fame list is no other than Katherine Deneuve. A style icon for many many years.
